Connecticut Division Achieves ISO 14001:2004 Certification

Precision Resource, Inc. today announced that its Connecticut Division has achieved Certification of ISO 14001:2004 compliance.

ISO 14001:2004 is an environmental management system standard of particular concern within automotive related manufacturing companies. ISO 14001 is a process-approach methodology with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and leaving a minimal ecological footprint in conducting business.

Located in Shelton, CT, the Connecticut Division specializes in the supply of complex components and assemblies using the fineblanking technology. The company markets its products to the automotive, electronics, power tool, and industrial markets primarily. The division also employs a wide array of secondary finishing technologies, including double disc grinding, fine-grinding, honing, and machining, in order to supply very tightly toleranced complete solutions to its customers.
